We gloss over them almost daily, get frustrated at them for delaying us seeing a good movie, and for the most part do not bother considering them at all.  What, then, makes a trailer good or bad?  How can a teaser become something memorable and have an impact on our opinions of a narrative work?  Why does Hollywood spoil every movie they make with an overly revealing trailer?
